In one of the discussion groups for artists I follow, a colleague was asking the following question: “Which part of the day are you the most creative and eager for working your art?” Depending on other obligations, I am generally more creative in the afternoon and/or the evening. Before opening my mouth – above all when I am tired – I already know I am going to use the wrong article in French, the wrong case in German, the wrong verb in Spanish and the wrong preposition in English… That is why I love painting. I let colours speak through me and play with me. No mistakes. A total liberation.
