Through

Looking at the beautiful landscape or at a historic place through a hole in the wall, an open door or window, scaffoldings, a tunnel or a bridge does make a difference.
The original landscape or building gets a new dimension, as it were enveloped with mystery. "Looking through" allows us to have another perspective of the reality and makes us realize that, perhaps, there is no one single reality and truth, but only different perceptions of it.

Meadows in the spring

In the spring, meadows are something very special. Here in Southern Spain, we usually have a big sky and strong colours. But I also like the foggy landscapes further North.

More fields and meadows here. Enjoy!

Cacti

I love cacti and I hate them at the same time. My first real encounter with one species of them which was bigger than me took place many years ago, on the Portuguese island of Madeira. I went too close and it hurt me awfully. I had to walk back to the hotel with hundreds little spines in my clothes and skin.
In the meanwhile, I can cope with them (yes, I love them!) and I am absolutely fascinated by their awesome and wild beauty.
