Rio Tinto: mining landscape

Less spectacular than Rio Tinto's water but not less interesting is the mining landscape in this area (Nerva, Minas de Rio Tinto, Berrocal). Walking there almost automatically makes one think of nature destruction, pollution, sustainability, child labour, working conditions, nature, beauty, and much more.

End of the Year Again

I find it difficult to look back and to look forward because I am someone who lives in the present. Since I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't want to worry too much about what I will do, won't do or should avoid. But one thing is certain: in 2024, I will hold on, just as I did in 2023. Trying not to hurt others, trying to live reducing my carbon footprint. Living with eyes wide open to see beauty wherever it is. Making art out of it.
