Towns of Alentejo

Some towns are so beautiful that I would like to get lost in them for ever. 
I do not mean big cities, but rural towns where neighbours leave with open doors, greet the strangers who pass by, where the houses are crooked and the streets narrow.
I spent one week in the remote region of Alentejo, in the south-east Portugal, and it was definitely not enough. But the four towns I could discover (Redondo, Elvas, Estremoz and Évora) give a little idea of the appeal of the area. Enjoy!

End of the Year Again

I find it difficult to look back and to look forward because I am someone who lives in the present. Since I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't want to worry too much about what I will do, won't do or should avoid. But one thing is certain: in 2024, I will hold on, just as I did in 2023. Trying not to hurt others, trying to live reducing my carbon footprint. Living with eyes wide open to see beauty wherever it is. Making art out of it.
