Silence and beauty
I enjoy living in Spain, but here, at the coast, silence is difficult to find. For this reason, I enjoy every minute I can spend in the region Alpujarra (province of Granada, Spain). Last time, we walked through the different villages of the municipality La Taha and the beautiful mountains around them: Pitres, Capilerilla, Mecina, Mecinilla, Fondales, Ferreirola, Atalbéitar - and the next villages of Busquístar and Pórtugos with similar architecture.
This area is so remote that it is difficult to imagine how remote it was before the small, sinuous roads were built, as the only way of getting from one place to the other was taking a path with a horse or donkey...
