Urban decay in Saxony-Anhalt

Urban decay is always a bit sad, but I like to take pictures of such buildings because they have a story to tell. A story of better times, booming business or happy residents. Stones are patient, waiting for the curious photographer to decipher their pain.
Urban decay is not exempt of beauty - when humble but strong nature finds its way to recapture urban space, it is just wonderful.

Here some urban decay in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany (click here to see them all):

Back from holidays

I have not been able to post for a while because I have been on holiday in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), without the necessary technical devices to work properly on art. As always when I am away, I chose to concentrate on now and here.
In the next future, I will post some impressions / pics / drawings of my trip to Saxony-Anhalt, but I will need some time to classify / scan / edit all that stuff (keywords: trees, landscape, urban decay, Ferropolis). In the meanwhile, an acrylic painting that I created just before I left. Enjoy!
