Urban decay in Saxony-Anhalt

Urban decay is always a bit sad, but I like to take pictures of such buildings because they have a story to tell. A story of better times, booming business or happy residents. Stones are patient, waiting for the curious photographer to decipher their pain.
Urban decay is not exempt of beauty - when humble but strong nature finds its way to recapture urban space, it is just wonderful.

End of the Year Again

I find it difficult to look back and to look forward because I am someone who lives in the present. Since I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't want to worry too much about what I will do, won't do or should avoid. But one thing is certain: in 2024, I will hold on, just as I did in 2023. Trying not to hurt others, trying to live reducing my carbon footprint. Living with eyes wide open to see beauty wherever it is. Making art out of it.
