Calima

Image
As last week, we got a strong calima again today, a layer of dust and sand brought on high winds coming from the Sahara, in Africa. The sky turned dark yellow and even orange, depending on the light and the moment of the day.  I had the impression to move in a monochromatic picture (sepia)! Enjoy those two snapshots that have not been edited, no filter, nothing.

Torrelodones: rocky hills

Image
I wish I still were there: in Torrelodones, northwest of Madrid. The landscape requires more time, other temperatures and night excursions, to observe wild boars. I will return in the summer. My small gallery on Fine Art America can be enjoyed  here .
