It has been a long time since we last went to Lanjarón (province of Granada): last fall was too unstable, often too windy. It was nice being there again, meeting some people we know and hiking, enjoying the scenery (and, after that, eating tapas outside): the nature there is always a lot greener than here. Those last months, I have read so many lies about recycling, that confirmed me in my opinion that there we must reduce drastically our permanent overconsumption and change our use-once-and throw-away mentality (and also cure our severe travelitis) . Nothing new actually, but is a debate now (more or less). Every time we are picnicking  on a small bay not far from here, I am carrying away a whole bag of rubbish that I found there. Why can you enjoy having a drink or party on the beach knowing that you will let it unclean? Why are empty bottles and packages suddenly so heavy that it would require superhuman craft to bring them to the next garbage container (about 20-30 m). Why? The lie about recycling

May already. I would have liked to participated to #movemay but knowing I won't have time to perform it till the end, it is wiser to tackle the next topic directly in June. In the meanwhile, here are some small colourful sequences to begin this new month. It's about pastures, blossoms, water and crops. Below, my version of the Puerta del Peso in Lucena (province of Cordoba, Andalusia), a town with Jewish and Moorish heritage, and full of historic monuments. This building though caught my eye, because I revised a bigger project about benefits of city greening an regeneration some years ago, and I am convinced that town centres have to become again places to breathe, live and walk.
