Winter walk on the beach

Image
I wish weekends were at least three days long, so that I could observe more birds and discover places that offer me the tranquility that cities deny me. I would like to be the voice of the egret or the duck, or just the silence. I capture the world with the soul of a photographer who is not willing to take one plane after another to find meaning in life or beauty. That would be too easy. There is beauty where I live. Nature takes back its rights

Image
The storm that started last week is still not over, even though the wind has died down a bit (just a bit).  I always like to capture situations where nature takes back its place (abandoned buildings, broken windows, cracked paint... In this case, plenty of sand).  This "dune" could be seen on the sea promenade on Saturday, in Benalmádena, just beyond the city limits of Torremolinos. I thought an "old photo style" picture would make the atmosphere more intense. The passage of time should be part of my work. Benalmádena (near the harbor)

Walking along the beach in Mijas

Image
We knew about it, but we never went there. From La Cala de Mijas, you can now walk 7 km along the coast to Marbella (and back -> 14 km). You will not be alone, but it is still a nice walk. Some cormorants and other birds can be observed. I would like to be there at night, under a full moon. As usual, prints and other stuff can be purchased through Fine Art America .
