Heat wave

We have the first heat wave at the moment, 40 ºC yesterday (it normally never happens here at the coast). Those last days, I have been trying to create some refreshing art between translation work and an escapade in the Alpujarra Granadina (a beautiful mountainous region near the town of Granada). For Spanish people, June means the beginning of the summer holidays. For foreign people like me, generally not :-(

September, finally! Temperatures are dropping (a bit, at least in the mornings and evenings), which is a good thing. We are even expecting some rain tomorrow. End of the Year Again

I find it difficult to look back and to look forward because I am someone who lives in the present. Since I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't want to worry too much about what I will do, won't do or should avoid. But one thing is certain: in 2024, I will hold on, just as I did in 2023. Trying not to hurt others, trying to live reducing my carbon footprint. Living with eyes wide open to see beauty wherever it is. Making art out of it.
