Litter on the beach

 We had a couple of days of heavy storm last week. After that, our beaches looked terrible again. Lots of plastic, fishing gear, old shoes, face masks. I wish I could live in another world.

    Must be sad to see all that litter. I'm used to seeing it in the street but on the beach as well, it must be heart breaking. The worst is when the animals mistake it for food or get tangled in them - that's very upsetting indeed.

End of the Year Again

I find it difficult to look back and to look forward because I am someone who lives in the present. Since I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't want to worry too much about what I will do, won't do or should avoid. But one thing is certain: in 2024, I will hold on, just as I did in 2023. Trying not to hurt others, trying to live reducing my carbon footprint. Living with eyes wide open to see beauty wherever it is. Making art out of it.
