Forgotten greens

Living in South Andalusia, seeing only dry, overheated grass and no water in many streams at this time of the year, I had almost forgotten the colour green and its smell: the lush colour of the grass and moss and lichen. Here some close-ups taken while hiking. We saw similar plants last year in Central Sweden, some pictures could have been taken even furth north than Asturias!

End of the Year Again

I find it difficult to look back and to look forward because I am someone who lives in the present. Since I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't want to worry too much about what I will do, won't do or should avoid. But one thing is certain: in 2024, I will hold on, just as I did in 2023. Trying not to hurt others, trying to live reducing my carbon footprint. Living with eyes wide open to see beauty wherever it is. Making art out of it.
