September - finally!
I am so happy that autumn is finally here, the crowds having (almost) completely disappeared overnight. Hopefully their rubbish will be removed soon now before it goes into the sea (but who cares about the environment - here and elsewhere?).
Now we will be able to find some sleep again (maybe). I'll be listening to the wind, the murmur of the waves and the lonely owl that visits us almost every night.
Same here, Chani, now we can walk the beaches with a plastic bag in our hands again to rescue the sea-creatures from the "leftovers". I love, how the black is going out giving space to the world again.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kis for visiting me! Yes, I think the situation in Italy and here is quite similar. I always pick up rubbish when I go out with the dog. People (tourists *and* locals) do not seem to understand that a cigarette end on the ground will finally end in the sea...
