Rainwater harvesting

Last week we had some rain, finally! Only one day, but we tried to harvest as much of this precious liquid as possible. It is hard to live in a region with a permanent water shortage. 

I wish we had better policies.

There was a strange light last night. Almost as if sand from the Sahara was back in the air ("calima"), but then hail came.  These days are quite humid, which is actually a good thing.
