Flowers in Town

It is still officially spring, but it feels like summer. You can walk through town and see flowers everywhere. However, I cannot forget that thousands of people are trapped in an open-air prison without access to basic necessities. The world seems to have forgotten about them. Or worse, the world thinks it is all right.

I wish I could turn off summer and return to normal temperatures. I don't want to complain, though, when I think about the human suffering in Ourense, Castilla y León, Portugal, Greece, and, of course, Gaza. Lockdown walks in Torremolinos

Locked within our municipalities since January, we are at least allowed to walk as free as animals roaming in a safari park. But, evidently, our town does not offer as much space and as many beautiful spots as a safari park ;-) Anyway, after work, I wanted to rediscover what I thought I already knew inside out. I saw dramatic skies, charming trees and streets waiting for me in the moonlight. I could not capture the smell of earth and moss after rain. Enjoy!
