Snow in the mountains, picnic on the beach

April is a strange month indeed. Friday was quite rainy at the coast, which means quite snowy in the mountains. We could picnic on the beach looking at some snow-covered summits at the east of Malaga - an unusual view at this time of the year.

Yesterday, we opted for taking the train direction Fuengirola and walking back home from Carvajal. We love to stop at a small bay, as long as it quiet (it was).

On the way back, we found many stranded jellyfish. I took this picture as I was fascinated by their beauty. At home, I found out their name, Physalia physalis in Latin, "Atlantic Portuguese man o' war", "man-of-war" or "floating terror" in English. I also read that they are in fact no true jellyfish. Though, they have got venomous tentacles that can deliver extremely painful stings, even when they are dead. Fortunately, they are not often to be seen on our beaches.
