Zuheros, province of Cordoba (Spain)

As I wrote in my last post, summers are always much other in central Andalusia than at the coast. Nevertheless, it may be the ideal season to visit if you are ready to adapt to another rhythm of life and take some precautions.
Yes, temperatures are higher than here at the coast, but the air is drier. If you wake up early, it is possible to hike (taking plenty of water with you and being back at 12 o'clock or so). Summer is ideal to relax with a (sketch)book or board game during the day and to walk at night.
Last week, we spent two days in Zuheros (province of Cordoba), in a beautiful hacienda in the middle of landscape covered by olive trees (it is indeed not too far from the world capital of olive oil). Enjoy!
