Wind, waves and tide

It is still warm but days get noticeably shorter now. I enjoy most this time of the year, where we generally can visit El Puerto de Santa María again, our "second home" (even if we do not possess anything there) at the Atlantic coast. Evenings there smell like salt, fish, mud; music of violins and guitars accompanies the wind whistling through palm tree leaves. Nights are a mixture of joy and melancholy.

    You're so poetic! It's turned rather chilly here, so winter is definitely on the way! We're already talking about Christmas!

    Thank you, Zsuzsa. We are also talking about Xmas here but at the same time, we still enjoy nice temperatures at the moment.

End of the Year Again

I find it difficult to look back and to look forward because I am someone who lives in the present. Since I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't want to worry too much about what I will do, won't do or should avoid. But one thing is certain: in 2024, I will hold on, just as I did in 2023. Trying not to hurt others, trying to live reducing my carbon footprint. Living with eyes wide open to see beauty wherever it is. Making art out of it.
