December, finally!
I suppose I am not the only one who is longing to see this year end, without being sure that next year will be really better. I wish I could be in the landscapes I can only dream of at the moment.
Coastal towers in Southern Spain
There are many watch towers in Southern Spain, all along the coast. I have always thought it would be nice to take a sabbatical and hike or bike from one to the other, reading about their history. Some of them are surrounded by nature, others are situated directly along the road (where it is difficult or impossible to park) or even in town, lost between concrete. Here are four of them, in three different provinces. The most beautiful area is, without hesitation, Caños de Meca, as it is a protected area. And from there, if it is not too foggy, you can see the Rif mountains in Morocco. I'm sure things will go back to normal next year Chani! although I would like to keep the working from home part if I can - I've got so much more time to get things done! You'll be out and about hiking again in no time, you'll see!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are right, Zsuzsa (ant thank you for your visit)! An a freelance translator, it is normal for me to work from home for many years (and I like that too). Hope you can keep working this way as well! But I am definitely longing for a world where you can visit each other again and live without asking yourself every Friday what will be fordbidden from Monday on. And closed shops, hotels and restaurants are dramatic for many people here.
