We had read that the rain would start at 7 pm, but looking at the sky about 6 pm, we knew that our reality would be different. ;-)

It is good that summer is over. You might not really notice it yet during the day, but nights are fresher, and days are getting shorter. Finally! I am glad I was able to spend half the month in the mountains, hiking and forgetting about the state of the world. Oooh, very dramatic! It would be very unusual for us to have storms in January here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteHere, storms generally come in the autumn/winter (rainy season)... Sometimes, it looks like quite dangerous, then nothing happens, and we read afterwards that there was a storm some kilometers away.
