Warm colours against bad weather

It is frustrating to have a long weekend but not being able to enjoy it properly because of rain, wind and cold... Of course, rain is always sorely needed for agriculture and human use here in Andalusia, but still. So, we stayed more or less at home, and I painted some coloured hills with olives and cacti (it could be Jaen, Cordoba or even nearer, somewhere in Malaga).
And I made a new picture of my little avocado plant, which will be called "tree" one day if it keeps growing well (we had to fumigate it once three weeks ago, but it seems everything is all right again).

  1. It was one of those rare occasions when Britain had better weather than Spain. If it's any consolation, it's raining here now and will be for the next two weeks! Your avocado seems to be doing well - mine just got going again after stagnating in the winter. The tips of its leaves are brown - I think that's a well-known condition for them. We'll see how it survives. I've repotted mine for the summer.

  2. Yes, all Northern Europe had better weather than Spain. But on the other hand, I am glad for farmers. Maybe your avocado was just hibernating in the winter. Yes, mine had a little brown at the tip of some leaves. As I did not know why, I fumigated it once, maybe it was not necessary, but at the moment, it is doing fine. hope the best for yours as well!
