Garden gate

Like animals in a cage, we see nature around us but are still not allowed to leave our town (how long will this last? The situation gets more an more absurd every day: from Monday on, we will be allowed to meet with 10 friends at a bar terrace, but may still not walk in the nature alone or with the person you live with.)

Of course, there are charming places in town as well, you only have to open your eyes. Yesterday, I found this abandoned garden gate.

Have you already thought about how animals must feel living in a cage day after day? If you feel bad at the moment because you have lost your freedom, at least, you have the power to open the cage of your parrot or canary bird and to give them the very best!

  1. I must say I don't feel like living in a cage but I feel sorry for people who don't have access to green areas. That must be horrible! The lockdown won't last forever and must remember to keep some of the good things. I love that photo of the derelict garden you took. I wonder what's the story behind it!

    1. Thanks for visiting, Zsuzsa! You are right, fortunately, this situation won't last for ever! Anyway, some decisions taken by the central and/or local Government do not make any sense. Yes, it would be interesting to know the story behind the pic. In some cases, the owner of an abandoned house may have died and the heirs could not agree to sell it. In other cases, the owner may have gone bankrupt and went away... I wish stones could talk!
