Back in Iznájar

Finally, we are now allowed to move between Andalusian provinces (not yet to travel to other parts of Spain - this will be possible from June 21). We went straightway to our beloved Iznájar, just on the other side of the provincial border, in Cordoba.
Again, we enjoyed walking around the freshwater lake, looking at the olive orchards, discovering flowering artichokes and thistles. In the morning and evening, we had to hug our big friends ;-)

  1. It's good that you're allowed to travel around a bit - but I think Spain is crazy allowing all these tourists in, especially from the UK. I just hope there won't be a second spike of Covid! Those dogs look adorable! Hope you're keeping well Chani - I haven't been around much - just too busy these days! xx

    1. Thanks, Zsuzsa. Yes, those big dogs were so friendly! They recognized us from last year.
About Covid etc., I do not know any longer what is crazy and what is wise. We all hope that the situation will remain stable, but I think Spain had no choice: many people here make their living of tourism, many did not earn one cent from March 15th, so the country *had* to reopen urgently after this long lockdown in order not to generate another disaster or riots... Poverty, anger and depression also kill, and some people will die because their operations have been postponed or they do not dare to go to their GP at the moment. I try to enjoy every day if possible and not to think too much about all that... In fact, I think the whole world is in shock.
