Holiday season

Days are now short, but nights are full of light. Festive lights are inviting us to the city centre, probably to do some shopping (again! It is always bargain-hunting season), but I am just walking between shops and poinsettias without any cent in the pocket, looking at the people sitting there with their dogs playing together.
In a world that is made for potential clients and business, it so nice to be free!

End of the Year Again

I find it difficult to look back and to look forward because I am someone who lives in the present. Since I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't want to worry too much about what I will do, won't do or should avoid. But one thing is certain: in 2024, I will hold on, just as I did in 2023. Trying not to hurt others, trying to live reducing my carbon footprint. Living with eyes wide open to see beauty wherever it is. Making art out of it.
